I live on a little farm in Ohio with my partner Molly; Leeroy Jenkins the dog; Woody, Artemis, and Patchy (cats); Marie Antoinette and Grandma Guns (chickens); Harvey (rooster); Gabie the sweet-but-crabby old-man Muscovy duck; and Dumb, Dumber, and Bulldog (terrible Pekin ducks).

I spend a lot of time just wandering outside, looking at flowers or praying mantises or mushrooms. I find four-leaf clovers. I backpack and hike. I\’m a sewist, knitter, writer, reader.

I\’m an associate professor at an Ohio university, teaching LGBTQ Studies. I have an MFA in Creative Writing from the NEOMFA (2013). I\’m writing a literary speculative retelling of Charlotte Perkins Gilman\’s Herland, and I\’m working on a manifesto titled \”SAVE THE FUCKING HUMANITIES.\”
